Paid Social Media

A Guide to a Successful Paid Social Media Campaign

1. Kick-Off Call
2. Grant Access
3. Provide Assets

Paid social is the use of paid advertising on social media platforms to reach a specific target audience. Here at Hyport, we do paid social advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Paid social advertising can be used to improve engagement, increase brand recognition, and drive increased traffic to your website or social media page!

Ads will be displayed to users who fit your target audience, which will be defined in the strategy we will create for you. Unlike organic posts, the ads will not be posted on your business page — instead, they will show up in various locations on Facebook and Instagram as people are scrolling through their own feeds.

No, posts on your Facebook page are known as organic social media. Your paid social ads will not be shown at all on your Facebook page. The goal of paid social is to reach new people and audiences, not people that already follow and know you!

There will be lots of metrics for you to explore in your dashboard, but the key metrics you’ll see are:

  • Impressions: The number of times your ad has been seen.
  • Reach: The number of individual people who have seen your ad.
  • Click-through rate: The percentage of people who have clicked on your ad after seeing it.

Our team will thoroughly monitor and optimize your campaign to determine when it is best to update designs. It’s important that ads are given time to run before changing, so we recommend giving them at least 2 to 3 months for optimal performance. Our team will let you know when it is the best time to swap things out!
